History

The Rotary Club of Wagga Wagga Murrumbidgee is a ‘new generation’ Club that encourages younger people to become members and to initiate projects, promote community liaison and awareness, and support our local community in issues that affect us all, now and into the future.

The club was Chartered in 2006 and now has exceeding 20 members. It is a mixed club with ages ranging from 22 through to 60. In 2010 the club was awarded entry into a Rotary International Pilot Program. It was one of 200 clubs world wide who were selected for this inovation and flexibility pilot scheme. Murrumbidgee Rotary Club is constantly evolving and looking for ways to take Rotary into the 21st century by envolving the younger generations.

The Club meets every Tuesday at 6:15 pm for a 6.30 pm start for casual networking and after work drinks. If this is your idea of fun, and you would like to ‘give back’ to our community, please consider joining us at any of our Tuesday meetings.
