Once again the Teddy Bears Picnic is a huge success.
The event was held on the 30th October at Collins Park. Even with thunderstorms looming the fantastic day out included Market stalls, face painting, jumping castle, Play on Wheels, Take Five Band and lots of food and fun. The crowd was treated to a great performance by SODANCE from Junee that was only cut short by the rain. Take Five Band also belted out some great classics before the rain dampened their performance. The crew from ZANA aerial dance academy gave a short performance before asking all of the kids to come up and try their acrobatic skills.

There were also impromptu performances from a life size dancing bear, a Fairy and a Lady Bird!

A huge thankyou to all of the stall holders for making the effort and making the day a success; Go Nuts For Charity, Tupperware, Play in Dough, Play on Wheels, The Girls from the Miss Wagga Quest, South Wagga Apex, Lake Albert Rural Fire Brigade, Ronald McDonald House and everyone else who helped out to make the day a great success. Special thanks to Leigh Ryan at 2WG, Daniel Johns at the Daily Advertiser, George Chapman at 2AAA and Anne Delaney from ABC Riverina for their help promoting the event. Don’t fear it will be back bigger and better than ever next year.
